Mugithi superstar Dj Fatxo has for the first time opened up on what transpired the night Jeff Mwathi died. Fatxo gave the whole story during an interview with Massawe Jappani at Radio Jambo.

Speaking in an emotional voice, Dj Fatxo said that he was still new at Redwood apartments, and he had lived there for about 3 months, hence he didn’t know anyone in the apartment, even his neighbours.

So when he drove in, the soldier stopped him and told him that there is a person who had thrown himself from the 12th floor. Fatxo said that he didn’t bother to hear more because he lives at the 10th floor, plus he fears seeing dead bodies. So he just wrote his name and the time, then he went to pack the car on the first floor to avoid seeing the dead body, because of fear.
Therefore he went straight and packed his car, and made his way to the lift so that he can go to his apartment. While going to the lift he only saw a snippet of the dead body, and what he saw was a person down without pants, and the head of that person was completely damaged.

He closed his eyes and didn’t want to see the body again, because he fears seeing dead bodies. Fatxo said that the only dead body he has ever seen in his life is his grandmother’s body.

When he reached the house he found that Jeff was missing and asked his Driver and Cousin why they had let jeff to go yet his shoes were still there. He checked under the bed and all parts of the house but Jeff was missing, he peeped through the window and start wondering whether the dead body down there was for Jeff .That is how Fatxo learned of Jeff death.
