Speaking in an interview with Afrimax English. Kate said that she has been married to Baguma for 28 years now. So far the relationship has been amazing. Kate said that her parents and friends had warned her and even some people used to mock her because of the ugly face of Baguma.

Kate said for her she didn’t go for the face, but Baguma was so real and honest, and that is all she needed. Despite being mocked, Kate decided to settle with Baguma and that time they were both poor. They have been through thick and thin together.
When Baguma won The Ugliest Man in the World Award, Kate was very happy. This opened for Baguma a door in the music industry and his songs started to trend.
