    “Zimekatalia kwa Mgongo” Drama in Kitale as Thieves Return Stolen Goods Claiming They Were Bound to Their Backs

    The small town of Kitale was rocked by an unusual event that left residents talking for weeks. A local market, usually bustling with the usual morning chaos of traders and buyers, became the center of a story that no one could easily explain.

    Early one morning, shopkeepers noticed something strange: items that had been reported stolen days before were mysteriously returned, placed neatly in front of their original stalls. What made the situation even stranger were the thieves themselves.

    When approached by the market committee and some local elders, they insisted that they had not intended to steal these goods. Instead, they claimed the items had “bound themselves” to their backs, forcing them to carry them wherever they went.

    According to their explanation, the goods were not in their control, and they had only brought them back because they could no longer bear the mystical burden. The story spread quickly, drawing curious onlookers from across Kitale.

    Some people laughed, suspecting a clever scheme to avoid punishment. Others whispered about curses, mystical forces, or karmic justice catching up with the thieves. The local chief organized a small gathering in the market square to hear the explanation from both the shopkeepers and the accused.

    During the discussion, the thieves recounted their bizarre experience. They said that after stealing the goods, they felt a strange weight on their backs, as if the items themselves were pressing into their shoulders.

    Attempts to remove them were futile; the goods would somehow return to their position, no matter where they were placed. Some claimed that during the night, the items even moved on their own, appearing in different corners of the house or hiding under furniture.

    Shopkeepers, initially skeptical, were shocked when they inspected their returned property. Everything was intact, clean, and accounted for. There were no signs of tampering, damage, or additional theft. Even the local police admitted that the case was unlike anything they had encountered.

    Questions about honesty, mysticism, and moral consequences filled the air.
    Amid the chaos, a few residents suggested seeking guidance from famous  doctor known for resolving situations involving mystical disturbances or unexplained phenomena.
