    Zakayo Must Go: Butere Girls Allowed To Perform Their Play Criticizing Government At Nationals

    Echoes of wars, is a play written by Cleophas Malala, it is a GenZ play about corrupt leaders who have poor leadership skills. Butere Girls highschool went viral online after performing the play at regionals. It was directly criticizing the government, and joining the rhythm Ruto must go. They were temporary banned, but the court has given them a greenlight to perform the play at the nationals.

    The state through Ps Bitok have also confirmed that they have cleared Butere Girls national school, and they will be performing their play.

    The high court found zero irregularities with the play, and it was talking about corruption and greedy leaders who aren’t ready to serve people who trusted them with their votes.

    It is an eye opening play, it has a very important message to Kenyans, and the girls are just right, they are expressing themselves, and there is freedom of expression in Kenya.
