Media personality , Willis Raburu decided to open up on his salary at Citizen Tv, speaking in an interview at Mic cheque podcast, Raburu said that he was very lucky that after finishing campus he secured a job at Citizen Tv.
His first job as an intern at Royal media , he used to earn ksh.30,000 per month. This was in the year 2010. The salary was little because he had no enough experience. Raburu kept on gaining experience and he became one of the most beloved journalists at the station. He even launched 10 over 10 and this is where his salary increased.
He started earning 6 figures, according to reliable sources , by the time Raburu was quitting Citizen Tv, he was earning about ksh.400,000 per month. He left Citizen Tv after 13 years and this really openned alot of doors for him.
