“Why I Paid My Own Bride Price, But He Still Dumped Me” Ugandan Comedian Ann Kansiime Opens Up

One of the most famous and celebrated comedians in Uganda and East Africa in general, Ann Kansiime has for the first time decided to open up on her failed marriage, and why it didn’t work out.

Speaking during an interview with Nrg radio, Uganda, Kansiime said that, she was once in love, with a very cute man. They were like a couple goal, and she knew very well that was the man of her dreams. Her father kept on pressuring her to tell the man to pay the dowry.

Kansiime said that she got tired of the pressure from her father, since she was making alot of money, and the man wasn’t stable that time, she decided to pay her own dowry.

She gave the man money, and the man cleared her dowry, using her own money. However after a while the man decided to dump her. That is how she ended up being single up-to-date.
