Reaction After CS Health Was Unable To Explain How People In Informal Sector will pay For SHIF.
CS for health found herself in a hot soup after she was unable to answer very important questions asked to her by the parliamentary committee, concerning the new health insurance model that the government is planning to replace with NHIF.
Dr Barasa was asked a very simple question, and it was on how people in informal sector will be paying for SHIF. She was there sweating and clearly she had no idea about that, this shows that she even herself doesn’t understand the new model, and it is based on dividing people in bands based on their social status.
