” Tulikuwa Tumeendea Lunch” 12 GenZs Arrested While Trying To Occupy State House Open Up
There was tension outside the Statehouse on 10th march 2025, after a group of youths trailed Ruto’s Motorcade from Eastleigh to the Statehouse. Reliable sources have revealed that they were about 300 youths, and 12 were arrested.
The elite recce squad managed to clear everything and ensured Kenyans that the Statehouse was safe. While in custody the young people were questioned on why they were trying to enter the Statehouse which is one of the most highly guarded buildings in the country.
They innocently said that they wanted to have lunch with the president. They were hoping for either the president, governor or members of parliament allied to Ruto to give them something, some cash. The youths have also been reported to have been trailing the convoy of the president in Nairobi, as they harass people and rob them their phones.
They were however released after thorough interrogation.
