The Unexpected Fall Of Mungai Eve , From A Journalist To A Socialite.
Mungai Eve was one of the best online journalists in Kenya. She inspired alot of young people to join YouTube after her success. Alot of YouTubers you see today in Kenya were inspired by Eve Mungai and some even have ever worked on her YouTube channel to just gain experience.
From 2021 to 2023 Mungai Eve was getting millions of views on YouTube. Director Trevor who was the brain behind the channel had packaged her well. Within few months they shifted from Ghetto and started staying in a surbub. They moved to Kileleshwa, a house where they used to pay a monthly rent of ksh.100,000 per month.
The two bought a car because their YouTube channel was making money, they could post upto 5 videos on a single day. Per month they used to make over ksh.2.5 Million and above.
Mungai Eve stopped interviewing people in Ghetto and started doing interviews with celebrities. That was the beginning of the fall. This made her to start working on her Instagram and in order to get more likes and comments as a lady she started posting revealing photos and flaunting her well endowed body.
Instagram became a new business because with numbers she started securing deals. While still on top, the breakup happened in the beginning of 2024, and here is where everything started to go left.
Trevor the brain behind the brand, left and took his YouTube and Facebook page. Eve Mungai was forced to start afresh.
She had to look for a new director and everything new. She opened a new YouTube channel in March and Kenyans, especially her fans made her hit over 100k subscribers in less than 48 hours. Her channel was monetised and she did her first interview.
Her first interview was with Andrew Kibe and it was a banger. She got over 700K views in less than 3 weeks. Eve was very happy for a new beginning and most people knew that soon she will beat Trevor in subscribers.
Remember Trevor took the Mungai Eve channel with over 600,000 subscribers. When the break up happened most people dumped Trevor for Eve.
However for Eve the consistency reduced and the number of subscribers she was gaining reduced. This has made her channel to stick at 157K subscribers for 4 months. The views on YouTube are also reducing.
The main reason is because Eve is now more focused on Instagram that You tube. Her photos on Instagram are yummy and she always flaunts her cute body and fashion and also how hot she is.
It is clear now most people know Eve as a socialite as compared to those who know her as a journalist. She has really worked on her Instagram and this has outshined her YouTube.
