The citizens of Siaya County are still concerned about the whereabouts of their governor, James Aggrey Orengo. He has been missing in public for over one month now. They decided to question the county government on the whereabouts of the governor.

However the speaker of Siaya, George Okode, who is now performing the duties of the governor, revealed that Orengo has been missing in public, because he went abroad. Okode said that the main reason why Orengo went abroad for a while is to attend to his own personal issues. He hasn’t resigned, but he is performing his duties remotely.

Okode said the county is fully operational and the netizens of Siaya should not worry because the governor is healthy and he will be back in the country soon. There are rumours going viral online that Orengo went for further treatment abroad. Okode didn’t confirm or denie the romours.
