On 5th September, William Ruto was affirmed to be the president of Kenya. Rigathi Gachagua and other leaders went to celebrate at Karen . However most people questioned the dressing code of the deputy president.

He was wearing an oversize suit and also the buttons seemed to have a problem. The photos went viral, and most Kenyans really hitted out at him and his designer.
It was like online humiliation and something like social media bullying.
The deputy president had no time to respond to them but the next day he was spotted wearing a decent suit.

Speaking in an Interview, Gachagua has finally opened up, why he was dressed poorly during the celebrations of Ruto’s victory.
“Many people have been raising questions about how I dress. I had no luxury to look at how I dressed. My eyes were always over my shoulders and taking care of my family,” he stated.
Rigathi Gachagua also said that he has started working out .He has his own gym and he is planning to loose weight and maintain a good shape. He said that things will change and very soon Kenyans will love what they will be seeing.
