Photos: Sad Moment When The Remains Of Raila Odinga Were Being Loaded Into The Plane

The funeral arrangements of the late prime minister, Raila Odinga has already been made, and he will be accorded full state funeral. Raila becomes the first person in Kenya who has never been the commander in chief, but being given a full state funeral.

A delegation that left Kenya to Mumbai to go and help the repatriation process, arrived safely, and the journey of bringing Raila’s body back home was facilitated well. Photos showing a heartbreaking moment, when the body of the late prime minister was being loaded into the plane are currently going viral online.

Here are the photos, showing how senior government officials and Raila Odinga’s family members, including his daughter Winnie paying last respect to the late Raila Odinga’s dead body, before loading it into the plane.

Raila Odinga will be laid to rest in Bondo on 19th October 2025. Rest in peace Raila Odinga and may God comfort his family members and all Kenyans for loosing such a charismatic leader.
