The spokesperson of ODM, who is the secretary general of the party, Edwin Sifuna has said publicly that there is nothing like broad based government in Kenya. Sifuna said that the government that is ruling Kenya is William Ruto’s government and people should stop all this narratives of saying that Kenya is ruled by a broad based government.

Sifuna said that all those politicians who joined the government are working under the command of William Ruto, meaning they are following the manifesto of William Ruto, they aren’t implementing the ODM manifesto, Sifuna said that the failure of the government should be a blame that must be carried by William Ruto and his people.

He said that ODM is focused and they are keen on taking William Ruto home in 2027, they will have their own candidate and for those who are supporting Ruto and are in ODM, they are doing that for their own personal gains and they aren’t speaking on behalf of the party.
