Wife and colleagues of Nuru Maloba Okanga, have urged the government to release , famous Azimio la umoja supporter , Nuru Okanga, after he was arrested, for allegedly talking bad about President William Ruto.

Nuru Okanga’s wife Emilda revealed that his husband was arrested by DCI officers on 29th November, while he was in the bathroom taking a shower.
She said that the Officers put him in the boot, and drove away with him. They said that they were taking him to DCI offices at Kiambu . It is alleged that the arrest of Okanga, was spearhead by his insults on President Ruto at Jacaranda, where he called the president ‘stupid’.

Speaking at Jacaranda, Omosh one hour, who is a colleague and also friend of Nuru Okanga, said that the cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu , should urge the government to release Nuru Okanga.
The 32 years old Okanga was among the 2023 KCPE candidates , who performed well. It is alleged that he scored 401 marks, though it is not that sure.
Omosh said that Nuru Okanga is expected to join Form One next year, he is still a school student and he should be released by the DCI immediately. Omosh said that Machogu is the person who is supposed to greatly help Nuru , because he is under the student department.

He said that the arrest of Nuru Okanga is politicized, and they are just humiliating a humble school boy for no reason. Omosh said that they are together with Nuru, and they will make sure he is released by DCI as soon as possible.
