Nilipona Mwili wa Uchovu : A Teacher from Eldoret Explains His Healing Journey

Nilipona Mwili wa Uchovu , A Teacher from Eldoret Explains His Healing Journey

Mr. Kibicho, a teacher from Eldoret, was always known for his strength and commitment. But after a long season of burnout  sleepless nights, pounding headaches, and endless exhaustion  he felt like a shadow of himself. Doctors in town found nothing wrong, yet every day felt heavier than the one before.
Then his cousin suggested he visit a doctor who helped people whose bodies carried stress too heavy for words. At first, Kibicho didn’t want to believe it  how could whispers and herbs do what medicine couldn’t?
In a quiet clearing bordered by tall grasses and wildflowers, the doctor greeted him without judgment. Instead of needles or machines, he offered herbal brews known to soothe and calm. He asked Kibicho to share his story  not just his symptoms but his worries, unspoken fears, and long-held frustrations.
For a week, Kibicho attended gentle sessions  herbal baths at sunrise, contemplative evening walks, and nights of silent reflection. Each day, he felt a little more grounded. The pounding in his head began to shrink. The tension in his shoulders loosened.
On the seventh morning, he stood outside and breathed deep  truly deep  for the first time in months. The exhaustion didn’t vanish overnight, but his spirit felt lighter, and his body gathered strength again.
Healing, he learned, wasn’t only in curing a sickness it was in finding peace inside yourself first.
