“My Dream Was To Be Mtangazaji Wa Habari Za Vifo Then A Pastor” Sports Journalist Stephen Mukangai

Renowned sports commentator and journalist Stephen Mukangai, who works as a senior sports journalist at Radio Maisha under Standard Media, has finally decided to share his childhood dreams.

Stephen Mukangai revealed that due to his fluency in Swahili, his initial dream was to become a journalist. He used to listen to KBC radio and admired a famous journalist who would make special memorial and burial announcements. This inspired him to develop an interest in journalism. Additionally, Mukangai also shared his dream of becoming a pastor, as he comes from a deeply spiritual background.

Although he is currently a sports journalist and enjoys his career, Mukangai remains hopeful that, after his time in radio, he will fulfill his dream of becoming a pastor. He envisions opening his own church and preaching the gospel of God, feeling that he has a significant influence and the ability to inspire people to embrace the word of God.
