The story of Deborah is very heartbreaking, the young lady has been going through alot in her life, and keep in mind she is only 16 years old. She was forced to drop out of primary school, while in class six, after her father impregnated her.
Speaking in an interview with Afrimax English, Deborah said that , she used to remain home with her father, because her mother used to be in an out of the hospital most times. The mum has been battling with hepatitis, and hence whenever she was in hospital she was always sure that Deborah and her other 12 siblings are very safe.
However the dad decided to take advantage of that and started to assault Deborah. He made it a habit of sleeping with the young girl, when she was only 14 years. He did it several times, till Deborah got sick.
When she went to the hospital, the doctors asked her who she has been sleeping with, she hesitated , but later on revealed how her dad was assaulting her.
The doctors reported the case to the police and the father was arrested immediately. Deborah was put under HIV and AIDS medication as she wait for nine months to give birth.
She gave birth, and her mother also gave birth, now the two are breastfeeding children from the same person who is Deborah’s father and husband to her mum. It paints a bad picture of their family, keeping in mind they are living in poverty.
