This had been a hectic month for me after one Mike conned me sh 85,000, but I thank God I recovered the whole money—this is what happened to me.
I was browsing online and saw an advert on one of the popular sites from Mike that he was selling a bar in Kahawa for sh 300,000. I had to run with the deal because I had yearned to own a bar for long.
I therefore called Mike that afternoon and we agreed to meet in Nairobi CBD the following Tuesday. That Tuesday as I was about to travel, he told me he was in another meeting but we will meet briefly so that he could show me the premises.
I arrived in the CBD at around 11AM and called him. Few minutes later he came and told me to accompany him to one of the hotels in the CBD near Yaya Centre. He ordered tea as we discussed the deal.
It was during the talk that revealed why he was selling the pub. He told me that he is about to relocate to the USA permanently and wants to sell some of his properties.
“You’re fortunate you’ll be the owner of this bar, I make sh 12,000 to sh 25,000 per day and it’s strategically positioned. This is a very good idea for you and you won’t regret,” he assured.
After discussing this for 20 minutes, he assured me he would be back upon completion of the meeting. He asked whether I can transfer some deposit of sh 70,000 with him.
“Just send some deposit because so many guys want this bar,” he told me before leaving for the meeting.
