Kumbe Huwa Wanalipwa? Senator Ojienda Spotted Giving Nyando people Ksh.200 For Attending His Event
It is like the politics of cheap hand-outs will never end in Kenya. Since 1990s, politicians have been playing this tricks to Kenyans, whereby they loot public funds and later give them some peanuts for them to show up at their events, it is called mobilisation fee.
With the current tough economic situation in Kenya, the wealthy politicians are really thriving. In a video going viral online, Kisumu Senator, Tom Ojienda was captured on camera, giving Nyando residents Ksh.200 each for attending his event and cheering him up.
Remember, Nyando is among the areas in Nyanza that have no any development, but you could see the residents showing their white teeth and celebrating the senator for giving them Ksh.200 only, money that can’t even sustain a person for a day. The kind of ilitracy that is in the village is alarming and that is why they keep electing incompetent leaders because they give them some small hand outs.
