KTN Exposes How Kawangware Women Were Paid Upto Ksh.500 To Attend Ruto’s Rally In Kilimani.
KTN has exposed president Ruto and his team for using women as a tool of showing that they still popular. It has emerged that the government is now paying women money and ferrying them from slums to go and cheer them in their political rally. Ruto’s event in Kilimani was full of hired women from Kawangware, who were allegedly paid upto Ksh.500 each.
It is something that has been happening, and instead of empowering women, the government is now using them for their own political interests. The video going viral online, clearly shows a group of women being ferried from Kawangware by Matatus to go and cheer Ruto in Kilimani.
During Ruto’s event in Kilimani you could clearly see the difference between hired crowds and some few locals of Kilimani. Women were the ones who were cheering up president William Ruto. A clear sign that the ground is against the president, now he has to walk with hired crowds.
