The Huge Monthly Salary And Allowances Mutahi Kagwe and All Other Nominated CS Are Enjoying
According to the latest data released by the remuneration structure for cabinet secretaries, it has been revealed that they are among the highest-paid government officials in Kenya.
Kenya now has 21 cabinet secretaries, following the inclusion of Mutahi Kagwe, Lee Kinyanjui, and William Kabogo. Each cabinet secretary currently receives a monthly salary of Ksh. 990,000, in addition to several allowances.
They are provided with a Ksh. 10 million inpatient medical cover, a Ksh. 300,000 outpatient medical cover, and a Ksh. 150,000 maternity cover. Furthermore, they also have dental and optical covers.

All the cabinet secretaries in Kenya earn a salary of Ksh.990,000. For the members of parliament they are currently negotiating for salary increment, and very soon they will be earning Ksh.735,000 every month. In Kenya politicians are the highest paid government officials and they really enjoy huge allowances.
