Just In : ODM Appoints Oburu Odinga As Acting Party Leader

Members of the Orange Democratic Movement have together decided to appoint Raila Odinga’s brother, Oburu Odinga as their acting party leader, following the dead of their party leader for the last 20 years.

The decision was made unanimously by all the members of the party. It was expected that the deputy party leader to take over, but for the respect they have to the family of the Odinga’s, ODM have decided that the throne should remain in the hands of the family until further notice.

The party will however have a very difficult time to decide the way forward. Raila was the decision maker and the heart of the party. Alot of political analyst are predicting that this might be the end of the Orange Democratic Movement and they are expecting divisions in the party.
