A very tragic incident has occurred in Juja, Kiambu County, after a Supermetro bus knocked down a bodaboda rider, killing him on the spot. In response, angry netizens and fellow bodaboda riders set the entire bus on fire.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident happened in the blink of an eye, and within moments, it was confirmed that the rider had died on the spot. Saddened by the loss of one of their own, other riders and residents decided to torch the bus in protest.
This is not the first time Supermetro buses have been linked to controversial accidents resulting in fatalities. In fact, the Sacco had previously been suspended by the government due to similar concerns.
