Captain S. Ondego from Vihiga county is going viral online, she is the pilot who flew RAO001 from Mumbai to JKIA, carrying the dead body of the former prime minister Raila Odinga. She has opened up on how it wasn’t a very easy journey.
Ondego said that it wasn’t a normal day at work, it was a moment that she really needed to be more courageous and confident, despite emotions being high, she had to breath in and decided to do all the best and make sure that the body of the former prime minister Raila Odinga, has landed safely in Kenya.
Ondego said that it was not an easy journey, but because she was the one at the cockpit, she had ti make it an easy journey. She Thank God that they landed safely, and she really symphathize and mourn with the entire nation, Raila was the epitome of democracy and his death has left a very huge void in Kenyan politics.
