Story of a Former Charcoal Seller, Alfred Mutai, who is now a Member of Parliament of Kuresoi North.
Alfred Mutai is a true definition of there is light at the end of the tunnel. He has been through alot . From a very humble background in Kuresoi , Nakuru, the former Charcoal Seller, is now a Member of Parliament.

He was optimistic that one day he will be a leader , and change the life of his people. Alfred started his journey in politics in 2017. Before winning the MCA seat in 2017, he was a charcoal seller. Alfred sold charcoal from 2013 to 2017 and, the little savings he had he used it to campaign.
After winning the MCA seat in 2017, Alfred started to prepare himself for the member of parliament seat.

Struggles and Finally Winning Kuresoi North Member of Parliament Seat.
It was a very difficult decision, to vie for the member of parliament seat. He didn’t have enough funds to run his campaigns. Unlike his competitor, who was using expensive cars to campaign, Alfred used tractors to campaign. The tractors were donated to him by his friends.

His determination and hardwork was seen by the residents of Kuresoi North. As a result, Alfred Mutai managed to secure the member of parliament seat.
He defeated his competitor by a very huge margin. He is currently the new member of parliament of Kuresoi North. Congratulations Alfred Mutai.
