    I left my job to set a business but things bad as I would sleep hungry in addition I was locked out of my house due to rent high rent arrears

    A lot of people just think deciding to leave work for business is always a walk in the park. This is something that requires some good decisions as some people find themselves in limbo after the businesses they decide to venture into failing to pick. Some become victims of depression, anxiety, and stress. To Gilbert, a 40-year-old, working as a government servant for 16 years was enough as he quit the job and decided the venture into several boutique businesses in Nairobi. He said his main reason for getting into business was because he wanted to be such an independent man.

    “I really admired my friends who were successful running various forms of businesses and so I wanted to leave my and venture into business as I so it was the only way I would be such an independent person, “ he narrated. He had the money which he had been paid as his service for working for all those years as a civil servant. He opened five boutiques but now the problem was he had not done all the business research. He said that was the beginning of his woes as none of the businesses he opened picked.

    He had used all his money in investing in these businesses but now things had turned negative. He even was not able to pay his business rents. Affording meals for his family was also a problem as his businesses were letting him down each day. He thought of shutting them down and selling all his stock but no one would buy at his price.
