Nairobi County had recently installed new dustbin’s in Nairobi CBD to try and help in keeping the city clean, but just 3 days after putting the dustbins there have been several attempts of stealing them from city thieves. This time round A Kenyan GenZ was caught ready handed trying to steal it.
In a video shared by Geoffrey Mosiria, who is the chief officer of environment in the city, the young man, had already managed to open the dustbin, and removed a metal like seal that is usually in the dustbin. He had put it in a very huge sack, and he was very ready to vanish with it.
Luckily the security guards who were on patrol that night, managed to get him, and he was arrested. The young man was shedding his tears, begging Geoffrey Mosiria to forgive him, claiming that he was on a deal with one of the ‘Kanjos’ who opened the dustbin for him.
