How The Government Is Planning To Start Deducting Money From Mpesa ( Mobile Money) To pay For SHA

Chief Advisor of president William Ruto on matters of economy, Moses Kuria has dropped another bombshell , and this time Kenyans will have to pay for SHA Forcefully.

This comes a month after the national government revealed that alot of Kenyans have registered for SHA, but they aren’t paying for the health insurance cover. This has made the programs of the insurance to delay due to lack of capital.

Kuria publicly revealed that the national government has now launched a programme that will be deducting money from Kenyans Mpesa and all mobile money platforms to pay for SHA. Small amounts of money will be deducted daily.

Here is the screenshot of Kuria’s words.( Courtesy of Buzzroom Kenya).

Without public participation, it will be very difficult for this method to work, and it will receive a backlash from Kenyans, who are already being overtaxed.
