ODM party leader Oburu Odinga has urged Babu Owino to remain in the party, according to him, he doesn’t see anything wrong with Babu Owino and there is no any reason to deny him the ODM ticket to vie for the governor seat in Nairobi 2027.

However for Babu Owino to win the ticket, he must win the party nominations, according to him, ODM is a democratic party and they will follow all the due processes, when it comes to giving candidates tickets.

Oburu has therefore assured Babu that if he wins the nominations, then he will be given the Nairobi gubernatorial seat ticket for ODM. Babu Owino hasn’t responded, but Kenyans and especially Nairobians believe that Babu Owino has what it takes to vie for the presidential seat, they feel like he is the only one who can challenge William Ruto in 2027.
