“Hawafai Kupanda Bodaboda” Garissa Bodaboda Riders Warned Against Carrying Somali-Muslim Ladies

A very controversial video is going viral online, especially on Tiktok and Instagram. It is a video of a Somali- Muslim leader somewhere in Garissa County, issuing some stern warning for all Bodaboda riders in the county.

The leader who is believed to be having a position in the Muslim group in Garissa, confidently said that the female Somali-Muslim ladies aren’t supposed to use Bodaboda’s. According to him it is illegal and their laws doesn’t permit ladies to use motorbikes.

He went on an warned all the Bodaboda riders in the entire county, against ferying Somali-Muslim ladies on their motorbikes.

This has really caused stir online, because according to the Kenyan constitution, there is freedom for anyone to use any legal means of transport, there is no an act where people from a particular group are restricted from using any means of transport.
