Ras Bingi , a 27 years old celebrity went viral for the first time during the floods era, whereby water flooded inside his house in one of the slums in Nairobi. Kenyans sympathised with him and they decided to change his life for good. They united via Eric Omondi and contributed a very huge amount of money to help the young man.
The total amount of money Kenyans raised was Ksh.300,000. This money helped the young man to relocate to a better place. All the households were bought and this was the new begging of the rich Ras Bingi. Kenyans were very sure that he will multiply his wealth.
However 4 months down the line, the young man went broke again. In an interview Bingi said that he can’t even afford to pay his house rent which is Ksh.2500. He is now pleading for financial help again from Kenyans and urging them to raise money for him again and atleast give him a job. He is back to his broke life, he hasn’t revealed what happened with the money Kenyans raised.
