    Exposed: Police Who Provided Security During CHAN Tournament Were Allegedly Paid Ksh.300 Daily

    It is now emerging that despite being promised to be paid Ksh.12,000 per game day, the police officers who were providing security at Kasarani and Nyayo stadium during CHAN tournament are yet to receive that money. A section of them have alleged that they were only paid Ksh.300 daily.

    According to reliable sources, 5000 police officers were deployed to provide security at the stadiums and outside the stadiums. Their initial salary was Ksh.12,000 per game, however it was slashed to Ksh.3,300 per game.

    As days went on, a section of them said that they never received that money. Some have alleged that they were only paid Ksh.300 per game day. A good number of police officers have been affected and they have demanded for investigation to be done, so that they can know who was in charge of their money and why were day not paid as agreed.
