One of the most famous and celebrated kenyan journalist, Enock Sikolia who is currently identified as the Kenyan Historian, via his YouTube channel, finally decided to come out openly and revealed to the public the reason why he decided to quit his well paying job at Royal Media Services, at the top of his career.

Sikolia, whose exit surprised many people, said that during the Corona virus is when he decided to end his 2 years journey at Citizen TV. It was on a very fine morning, when he entered the RMS offices , directly to the HR office and submitted his resignation letter.

The HR was shocked and questioned him why he was doing so. He was ready to listen to him and know where the challenge was so that they can solve. The HR questioned about everything , because he knew that Sikolia was one of the best journalists in the company, working with a good team and receiving a good salary.
But Sikolia had already made a decision to exit RMS and that was it. So he convinced the HR and they accepted his resignation. He exited the job because he felt it was time for him to upgrade and also focus on his own things.
It was a crazy decision that left most of his co-journalist friends shocked.Sikolia decided to start from Zero with only his experience in the field of journalism. He opened his YouTube channel and called it the Kenyan historian.
He said that he was shocked that some of the people he really trusted, when they had that he had exited Citizen TV, they stopped picking his calls, blue ticked him on WhatsApp. This are people he used to do interviews with them on Citizen tv and give the a platform.

On a positive side a small number of his friends came to support him. Politicians such as Murkomen, Babu Owino and some did interviews with him at his small YouTube channel and really helped him to grow. He is still very grateful for what they did, and now Kenyan historian is a huge brand in Kenya. Sikolia said that he is doing well and has no bad blood with Citizen TV , he still vibe with his colleagues there.
