Renowned Kenyan content creator, Desagu, has addressed the rising speculations about his connection to serial killer John Matara. With increasing claims of their resemblance circulating among Kenyans, Desagu decided to set the record straight.

John Matara, a notorious serial killer from Kisii County, known for heinous crimes including the slaying of Pastor Kanyari’s sister Starlett, has sparked discussions due to perceived similarities with Desagu. Matara, a former student of Butere Boys High School, allegedly faced repercussions from the school’s principal, Mr Odera, for his troubling behavior.

Desagu, hailing from Nakuru County and belonging to the Agikuyu community, has unequivocally denied any association with John Matara beyond their facial resemblance.
Taking to Instagram, he emphasized that there is no familial link between them and urged people to refrain from making unfounded connections.
