Deputy president Kithure Kindiki has now decided to declare himself as a political Kingpin of Mt Kenya region. Kindiki told netizens to ignore Rigathi Gachagua, because he is the one who is in government and the most powerful person in Kenya after President William Ruto.

Kindiki said that currently he is the senior most political leader in Mt Kenya region, hence he has a say in Mt Kenya, so he doesn’t recognise Rigathi Gachagua who is not in the government as the Kingpin of Mt Kenya.

The deputy president has been in Mbeere, where he is trying to campaign for UDA candidate. They are optimistic that UDA can defeat DCP in Mbeere in the upcoming by elections that will be held countrywide on 27th November 2025. Kindiki now views himself as Mt Kenya Kingpin, because he is the deputy president of Kenya.
