Boniface Mwangi Announces On 25Th June A National Holiday To Mourn GenZs Who Died In 2024 Maandamano

Human rights activist Boniface Mwangi has urged all GenZs and all Kenyans, to show up in the streets on 25th June 2025 for a peaceful march, to salute and remember the GenZs, who died by bullet during the 2024, finance bill protests.

The deadly protest that led to the rejection of the finance bill 2024, left alot of families mourning their beloved ones. According to data from the Human rights, over 60 Kenyans died by bullet, and over 100 were abducted, some are even still missing up to date.

Something shocking is that no police officer has been jailed, IPOA has been finding it hard to prosecute the police officers who killed the young people, they feel like they are receiving protection from powerful individuals in government.

Boniface Mwangi has therefore urged the young people to show up in large numbers and remember their lost heroes.
