Just hours before Raila Odinga was pronounced dead, Babu Owino was at an interview at Radio Jambo. He said that he was ready to be the Luo Kingpin after Raila exits politics. Babu said that he respects Raila very much, but the time he will retire from politics, he will inherit him. Now Raila is dead, will Babu be the next Luo Kingpin.
In the interview Babu said he is late being the president and he is very capable to fight for the inheritance of Raila Odinga’s top seat in ODM. He is ready to lead the Luo community.
Babu said that he is ready to face John Mbadi for that position, he said that he believes he has the intelligence and capacity to fight for the nation, the way Raila Odinga did and when appropriate time reaches he will do that. Now Raila is dead, all eyes are on Babu Owino.
