Awinja Nyamwalo: Why Police Officers Shot My Brother To Death Despite Being Innocent

Jacky Vike famous as Awinja Nyamwalo, has finally decided to open up to her dark past when she was still young, and why the police officers decided to shoot his brother to death.

Speaking in a podcast with Dr King’ori, Awinja said that he was born and raised in one of the ghetto estate in Nairobi, identified as Majengo. Majengo is based somewhere near Gikomba market.

While they were young, his brother used to hang out with bad boys, and those boys were engaging in theft activities. So one day raid by police happened, and they were searching for the members of the gang. His brother wasn’t a thief, but hanging out with the crew led to his death.

The police never questioned, they just shot him to death and the reason was, because he was spotted with the members of the crew, and that is how Awinja lost his lovely brother.
