When Sailors Gang was at the peak and trending in Kenya, they were a very big deal and that period Gengetone was the talk of the town. Every musician wanted to collaborate with them and Krg the Don and Octopizzo were among the musicians that secured a collaboration with Sailors Gang.

During their peak time, Mwalimu Rachael, was their manager, and she is actually the one who brought them in the game. She did an amazing work till they started falling out. One thing led to another and they completely fell out , leading to the collapse of Sailors Gang.

Mwalimu said that it reached a point whereby the boys were not respectful and they weren’t even consulting her before making decisions. They were just signing things that they don’t know.
It all started with a collaboration with Octopizzo, the song was called ‘Wakiritho’, this song Mwalimu Rachael said that she saw it just like other people on youtube.
They didn’t consult her, hence they ended up doing a song without signing any spreadsheet with Octopizzo. The song was a hitsong but since they hadn’t signed any spreadsheet, all the royalties went to Octopizzo. In short there is no money they made from that collaboration.

The same thing happened to their collaboration with Krg the Don, the song was called ” Nyandus”. They didn’t consult Mwalimu Rachael, and they ended up doing the song without signing any spreadsheet.
Rachel said that the only thing they were given for that Collabo with Krg was Meat and alcohol and then driven home. That was all ,the song went viral and all the royalties from streaming platforms , Krg the Don took it.
Rachael said that Krg and Octopizzo shouldn’t be blamed, Sailors were just fools and they are the ones that are supposed to blame themselves.
