President William Ruto named his cabinet on 27 September 2022. It was full of surprises . In the ministry of health , Susan Nakhumicha was awarded that position and she is the one who replaced Mutahi Kagwe.
Dr.Nakhumicha is less known by people because she hasn’t been in the limelight for quite along time. She is a qualified doctor and she completed pharmacy diploma between 2005 and 2006 at Kmtc.

She went ahead and did a second diploma at the Kenya institute of management. That is diploma in healthcare management.

After scoring a distinction, Susan Nakhumicha joined Jomo Kenyatta university to pursue bachelor’s degree in procurement and management. She went ahead and pursued masters of science in procurement and supply chain management.

She is more experienced with more than 15 years of international and multicultural experience in agile and intelligent supply chain and operations in the healthcare sector. In all the sectors she has worked , she has performed very well and she might deliver well in the ministry of health.
