David Owuor, from Goma village in Siaya, is apparently one of the most learned pastors in Kenya. Owuor holds several degrees and a PhD in molecular biology. He is a qualified scientist, but he decided to quit a well-paying career after allegedly receiving a calling from God to spread the gospel around the world. He therefore chose to become a prophet.

David was just a normal child while growing up. He was smart in school and managed to secure admission to the University of Nairobi. He studied alongside MP Gideon Ochanda, as they both hail from the same village. At the University of Nairobi, Owuor graduated with a degree in Agriculture, specifically in the science field.

He received a scholarship for further studies in Israel. He completed his master’s degree and went on to earn a degree in molecular biology. He was a brilliant scientist. In 1999, he secured a well-paying job in the USA. He worked as a lecturer and also as a scientist researching cancer treatment.

Some years later, around 2003, Owuor claimed that he received a calling from God through dreams, in which God wanted him to quit his work and spread the gospel of the Almighty. He initially denied the calling several times, but he eventually gave in.

David Owuor quit his job and decided to return to Kenya, allegedly as an anointed prophet of God. He started his own ministry and gained a lot of followers. This came after he claimed that he had the power to heal any illness, including HIV and AIDS.

His miracles have stirred a lot of controversy in Kenya. Some people believe that he is a true prophet of God, while others believe he is a prophet of doom. He has been praised by his followers many times, and also criticized by some of his former followers and people who do not believe in his miracles.
