Aki Mungu Amponye: Kenyatta University Comrade Nursing Serious Injuries After Being Shot On Neck.

Kenyatta University student identified as Philip Oketch, was among the victims who were shot on 17th june, by police officers during the justice for Ojwang demonstrations. Oketch who was at the forefront, demanding for justice for Ojwang, was shot on neck.

The police officer was targeting his head to finish him completely. Ambulance arrived on time, and Oketch was rushed at Kenyatta international hospital. He is still in pain and the video going viral online clearly shows the damages that the bullet did on his neck. He is also supposed to undergo another serious surgery, but he seems to atleast being in a stable condition.

GenZs have vowed to go back in the streets, to demand justice for Ojwang and all other GenZs who were shot in 2024 during the finance bill demonstrations.
