Kenyan statue man, Collins from Turkana has revealed how he is earning money for standing still for 15 minutes in Nairobi CBD. He is a form four dropout and married while in form 2.
Speaking in an interview with Citizen digital, Collins who is a total orphan, has been going viral online for his unique talent. He is capable of standing still for 15 minutes, without even blinking.
He said that he learned the idea from American Statue man, and he started practicing it while in Turkana. Kenyans on Tiktok were impressed and paid his fare to Eldoret, and later helped him to relocate to Nairobi.
While starting this, it wasn’t easy, because he had no money to buy better phone and also sustain himself in Nairobi. However Kenyans have been showing him love by donating money for him, and now because of his social media numbers, he has started getting brand deals. Collins said that he is now making money and he is hopeful that soon Safaricom or Coca-Cola will give him a brand deal.
