Willis Raburu: How Citizen TV Gave Me Ksh.1 Million To Convince Me Not To Exit Royal Media Company
Willis Wayne Raburu was one of the most famous media personalities at Royal Media company. He used to host the famous 10/10 show at Citizen Tv, but he decided to exit the company sometime in 2023, after working there for about 10 years.
Speaking in an interview with Kalondu Musyimi of Mpasho, during a quickfire session, Raburu was asked about the time he made his first Ksh.1 Million, or literally the time he became a millionaire.
He confidently said that it was in 2016/2017 period, when he wanted to exit Citizen Tv, and the company had to convince him to stay. They gave him multiple cheques, and the total amount of money was Ksh.1 Million. He decided to stay at the company. That is how he got his first one million Kenyan shillings.
Raburu also revealed that this year he will be making a comeback on TV, but in a very different way.
