“Tulifunga Biashara, Hatukulipwa” Laikipia Residents Complain Of Being Forced To Attend Ruto’s Rally
Angry Laikipia residents have finally decided to open up on how they were tricked to attend Ruto’s rally on April 1st. William Ruto who toured the county to allegedly launch some development programs.
The residents said that the county officers told them to close their businesses, took their phone numbers, promising to pay them money. They were to receive the money after attending Ruto’s event. They were promised about Ksh.2000.
The business people agreed to the deal, they closed their business and went on to cheer for the president as they were instructed. They were sure that at evening they will receive the money to cater for the losses they had made that day for closing down their businesses.
However they didn’t receive the money, and there are no signs of them receiving the money. They called out the president and urged him to pay the money for the losses they made on April 1st.
