Clement: I Used To Pay Kairo Monthly Salary of 800K,Fees,Rent, But He led To The Fall Of My Company
The owner of the former famous car company in Kenya, Imports By Kairo, Clement has finally decided to open up on how Khalif Kairo led to the fall of his company.
Clement said that they decided to name the company Imports by Kairo because Khalif Kairo was their marketing agent and he was like the face of the company because of his huge social media numbers. They were also best friends hence he trusted him.
Clement said that him and his friend Ibra decided to fund the company, they were the ones paying for everything in the company. Kairo was just incharge of marketing, he wasn’t aware of what was happening in the office.
Clement said that when they started he used to pay Khalif Kairo upto ksh.800,000 per month as a salary, because the company was making huge profits. In order to maintain Kairo they decided to give him shares in the company.
Apart from paying him huge salary, which reduced to Ksh.400,000 per month, then later to Ksh.200,000 per month before the company full collapsed. Clement said he was the one who paid the aviation school fees of Khalif Kairo and even at some point he paid his house rent.
Clement said that after Kairo gained fame, he started to brag that he owns the company, and with time he felt more entitled. After Ibra had pulled out of the company due to financial issues that were caused by Kairo, Khalif Kairo started snitching on the company.
He painted a bad image of the company online, tarnished the name of the company, and even told some clients not to buy cars from the company, and they should do side business with him. That is how imports by Kairo collapsed.
