One of the most famous and celebrated kenyan musician Stevo Simple Boy has finally decided to open up on his education background and why he was forced to drop out of school.
Speaking in an interview with online media, Stevo said that he really struggled in school, he was a slow learner and education wasn’t just his thing. He studied upto primary 8 and that was the end of his education.
He managed to score 240 marks in KCPE and because he wasn’t good enough in class work he decided to call it a quit. He said that he was aware of secondary education and he knew very well he will flop so the best thing was for him to gain some technical skills.
He moved to Nairobi and started hustling in the streets of Kibera. He did welding, building and construction and later a watchman before making it in the music industry.
