In 2022 Irene Nekesa in an interview with NTV revealed that she was the highest paid househelp in Kenya, she said that Diana Marua and Bahati used to pay her ksh.100,000 every month. Diana and Bahati also confirmed that it was true.

In a video on her YouTube channel, Irene Nekesa has finally revealed that she is no longer working as a househelp at Diana Marua and Bahati’s mansion. She said that she exited the job, despite the huge salary she was earning.

Irene said it was a mutual agreement and they together agreed that it was time for her to grow after working for them for 7 years. She said that they are in good terms and they even blessed her before she left. She is now working on her business and also she is venturing into content creation. She is now a YouTuber and hopefully she will be at the same level as her former boss Diana Marua.
