Feared By Many But Respected By All: Untold Story Of Farouk Kibet’s Rise To Power.

Farouk Kibet has been a name that has been emerging anytime Ruto is mentioned. He is the no nonsense personal assistance of president William Ruto and the entire cabinet respects him so much, because he is the voice of the president.

Farouk hails from Usian Gishu county, and he joined politics in early 90s, he used to be a great enemy of William Ruto, he was supporting the likes of Chesire back then and they saw a young Ruto as a threat. However in 1997 he joined hands with Ruto and played a very important role in helping him win the member of parliament seat.

Since then they became close friends, and Ruto started working with him, in 2007, Farouk was with Ruto and they were among the most powerful people in Rift Valley that played a role in the demonstrations.

He kept on working with Ruto and 2013 after Ruto and Uhuru won the elections, he was made the PA and he was the one planning everything for the deputy president. He played a very huge role in helping them to secure the second term and 2022 he was the mastermind behind Ruto’s win for the presidential election.

Everyone who supports Ruto or close friends have publicly praised Farouk for the 2022 victory and they have expressed how they fear him, because he is very strict and he acts like the president.

Gachagua has also been complaining on how Farouk wanted to control him yet he was the deputy president. Farouk is feared by many but respected by everyone in Kenya Kwanza alliance because he is simply the voice of Ruto.
