Edna Owour Otieno , Kiptum’s alleged baby mama decided to open up on all the story concerning her relationship with the late world record holder and Kenyas athletee.

After his death Edna was among the women who came public to reveal that they had a child with the athlete. She faced backlash online, and even find herself trending on X.
Speaking in an interview with Eldoret Online Tv, Edna said that she started dating Kiptum in 2019, however they first mate in 2018 . When they started dating she was at a certain secondary school and she was in form three. She knew Kiptum when he was still not famous.

When she finished form four in 2020, in 2021 she got pregnant for the athletee, this prevented her from continuing with her education. There were no worries because the late promised to take care of her and the child.

She gave birth, and indeed Kiptum started providing for the child. She said that she used also to spend much time with him. Hence whenever his wife couldn’t find him on call she used to call her and ask if she is with him.
Her and Kiptum’s wife knew each other, even the family is aware that she has a daughter with Kiptum they just choose to ignore her. Edna said that was the reason she decided to go to court, and the case is still going on.

She even said that she still has the clothes tha Kiptum gave her, and she is also ready for DNA. Edna who is 22 years, said the family should stop ignoring her , and let her and the daughter also be among the beneficiaries, she is still waiting for the way forward and justice.
